I had never heard of Lanu before I headed over to Wax Poetics to check out some soulful cuts.  To quote the bio on his website:

Lanu is the bandleader of Australia’s premier Deep funk outfit The Bamboos, whose releases on Tru Thoughts, Ubiquity, Kay-Dee and Bamboo Shack Records have garnered unanimous praise from funk DJs and beat-heads alike.

To celebrate the Tru Thoughts record label’s 10-year anniversary, Lanu has put together an amazing DJ set of their laid back soul tunes, featuring music from Alice Russell, Nostalgia 77, The Bamboos, Kylie Auldist, The Quantic Soul Orchestra & more!
