Thee Mike B is a regular at the dope Hollywood spots and Las Vegas spots, traveling as part of the Undisputed Artists DJ camp, so you know dude has a lot of talent behind the decks.
That is what makes mixes like these so much fun to listen to, because it allows DJs to really show off their musical knowledge and gives us a glimpse of what they like to listen to when they’re not essentially forced to play popular hip hop and top-40 music at clubs.
This mix has lots of Disco, Deep House, Acid House, New Electro, Rock, etc and it’s best described (to me) as appropriate for “night driving, introspection, and letting the songs breathe.”
