This song’s been out for a good minute but I finally caught the music video for “Who’s Your Daddy”. I suppose in hip hop when in doubt go with the Maury Povich skit for the video, because nothing says hip hop like denying yet another child of a possible father figure. Who’s your daddy???

I have to give it up to these guys. For nearly 10 years, Thaitanium has been holding down hip hop for my motherland of Thailand. They are among Bangkok’s biggest acts and look poised to be even bigger with an album hitting the streets later this year.

If you don’t know how down they are for hip hop, look no further than “No Stoppin’ Us” featuring Blahzay Blahzay and Lil Fame of M.O.P.

Naughty by Nature is a Grammy Award-winning American hip hop group that at the time of its formation in 1989 consisted of Treach, Vin Rock, and the DJ Kay Gee. The group formed in East Orange, New Jersey (colloquially referred to as “Illtown” in the 1980s). Q-Tip’s “Life Is Better” video is a beautiful black & white piece. Q name drops some major hip hop acts in his second verse. Norah Jones sounds great. This is hip hop.
