The song is like a year late but it’s been hitting the blogosphere hard the past couple of days so without further ado, here’s Lil Weezy’s tribute to the most awesome sports franchise to ever hit the home video game console market.

Cash Money quietly signed British pop star Jay Sean to a deal, and he has developed into a big hit maker with with his number 1 single, “Down”, which marks it the first number 1 single for any artist of South Asian descent (he’s of panjabi-descent, I hear).
So here’s his hit single to commemorate my Asian brother’s success

In 1984, Dennis Edwards, of Temptations-fame, scored this little gem called “Don’t Look Any Further.” A catchy bass-line and an easy mid-tempo made it a moderate success.

Does it sound familiar to you? If you’re a hip hop lover like myself, then most certainly you’ve heard this song on more than one occasion…
Throwback Thursday – Dennis Edwards “Don’t Look Any Further”
I’m just like the rest of you… when my homeboy told me Lil Wayne was releasing a rock album, I said, “get the f- out of here. That’s going to be whack.” Kevin Rudolph’s “Let It Rock” was a decent song but not for the stylings of Lil Weezy… who knew he’d take that and run with it? Maybe he’s inspired by Kanye to try something outside of his musical box?
Anyway, I took a listen at “Revolver” and I have to say, it’s not bad. He’s still on the auto-tuner though. Have a listen and let me know what you think.
Lil Wayne – RevolverApparently Gatorade is about to change it’s name to just “G.” This sounds incredibly lame, but the commercial is kinda cool I guess.
